- Jennifer O'Steen
- Hello & welcome! My name is Jennifer and I teach Academic Success Workshops at Valencia College in Orlando, FL. In addition to standard issue content like study skills, note-taking, test taking, and writing I also teach an exciting workshop about technology and learning. I have been blown away by what I can do in the classroom with my gadgets and have been thrilled with how convenient, easy, and streamlined my own studying has become. In addition to the workshops, I am a Phi Theta Kappa advisor for the Alpha Gamma Omega Chapter at Valencia and a Humanities major at the University of Central Florida. I’m a wife to a wonderful Jazz musician and mom to a very snarky cat. As an avid Sci Fi fan, (Hey, I’m writing a tech blog...what did you expect?), I’m sure you will find lots of Doctor who comments and Firefly references. I hope you find what you are looking for here, and some things you weren’t expecting as well, and if you don’t let me know about it.
